Extraodinary Machine & Libra

Listening to Fiona Apple's new CD. It's cool. She's a singer/songwriter. Her msuic is is very piano driven. I have her other CD's. Nice change of pace.

Also bought Libra by Toni Braxton. Toni's got that sexy voice. Makes me want to listen. Love the new material. Nothing as good as her Secrets CD, but good nonetheless.

I was wondering whatever happened to Fiona! I like her music. In today's world of hip hop and rap, they barely let any other singers with another style even if they're young on at all. They don't get a chance. A few are starting to break through though. I hope so cause though I do like some hip hop and some rap, I am missing real music and singer song writers anymore.

hello ladies,

I love it when you visit. Makes me feel loved. :-) Glad u stopped by and posted. I love Fiona's music. her lyrics and delivery are not directly influenced by contemporary artists. She's a lot fresher than what I'm hearing on the radio.

Toni is straight up R & B. I think she needs to get other producers, and change her sound. Like I posted. it's a good CD, but not as good as Secrets.

Toni's new one took some time to grow on me so I have the feeling it might wind up being up there with Secrets before it is all over. I just uploaded Secrets to my iTunes and I don't think I skipped adding a single song so I know what you mean about it being a good CD. I forgot how good it was.

I have the cd. I ripped a copy to my iTunes, so I hear it, among other songs. I would say it was one of my better purchases of music. Glad U R enjoying her music. :-)

Have you heard the leaked version of Fiona? Someone was just saying that the songs were quite different from the final version. He liked the original songs better...they seem to be a bit darker than the released versions.

I wish I did. The reason the CD was so long to be released is that Fionna wanted to try the songs with a different producer. I wonder if I could find the leaked version. I would love to hear the difference.

Berry,

I heard some of the songs. They are darker. Red, Red, Red is deeper and darker. Dramatic difference in production. Gotta go listen to the rest of the songs.

I agree...it was much darker. How many did you find? I have about six of them.

I found them all. I went to http://www.torrentbox.com and found all the songs.
