Is There A Doctor In The House

I am so going to the doctor tomorrow. I hate this feeling. I did get somewhat better. I am eating again as well as drinking juice. Went to work today. All was well. Busy, as usual, making the world safe for patrons. The day went by with a smooth feel good, less fustrating type of vibe. Lord, I love these types of days. I pray for much more.

You really suffer with your allergies. Hope you feel better soon after seeing the doc.

Thanks Beatty.

I may need something stronger than Clariton! I may get that too. Clariton seems to be losing its potency with me.

Do you have a prescription for Clariton or are you taking the over the counter one? The one over the counter isn't very strong. If you're taking a prescription one though your body may have become immune to it. So you need something stronger prescribed to you. You seem to have a severe case of allergy problems. Mine are not quite as bad as yours. I take prescription Allegra D though for my allergies. I take one pill in the mornings before I head out for work. When I'm out of them, I know it as my allergies causes some slight congestion for me and I end up getting a headache. Especially this time of the year. Soon as it warms up, my allergy problems get better.

Yeah the over the counter one isn't strong.

Is the Zyrtec prescribed by a doctor? I don't know much about Zyrtec.

Glad you are feeling better. :o)

Beatty,

I belive it is doctor perscibed. It didn't come in a standard package. I know it works becuase it made me sleepy. LOL Clariton can't even buzz me these days.

I mean did you go to a doctor and he wrote a prescription for you for it?

Do you go to the doctor when your allergies get that bad? You really should as they can prescribe the medicine that would work for you.

Whether the medicine makes you sleepy or not doesn't mean that it's not working. Not all allergy medicines make you sleepy like in years pass. Clairtion doesn't make you sleepy. That was what I liked about it when the doctor prescribed it to me a few years ago. I could take it during work hours and it didn't make me sleepy. When it went over the counter, I knew it wasn't going to be strong enough to work for me, so I asked the doctor to prescribe me another allergy medicine that is non drowsy and that's how I'm taking Allegra D now. I take that in the mornings before I head off to work and it works and I'm not drowsy. So not all of it makes you sleepy and they do work.

You'll have to go to a doctor to get the right one for you though. If your allergies are as bad as they seem to be, you need to go to the doctor. Buying those medicines over the counter aren't strong enough for your severe allergies.

Beatty,

I did go to the doctor. my allergies were bad enough that i needed something stronger. He perscribed Zyrtec. Most drugs that are non-drowsy work opposite on me. They make me sleepy. Clariton stopped making me sleepy. That's not good. I became used to it. The drowsy was a side effect, and for me an indicator of the meds having an effect.

Oh I see. You have a strange reaction to medicines having the opposite effect.

Glad the Zyrtec has helped.

I'm so glad I don't have that problem with medicines. I know a few people like you who do and you all have alot of problems finding the right medicines that work well for you.
