Don't Apologize

The other day I apologized for discussing something because I thought it was too shocking for a presentation. I realized later that I was really being over sensitive, and trying to second guess my audience. Please note, that you can't create like this. If people are disturbed, then it sucks for them, but often when I write or present, my goal is not to offends. It's just too limiting to second guess peeps.

It it was something you wrote in the blog, I wouldn't apologize, I mean a blog is like a diary, it's just a public diary that's all. It's a way of working out things for yourself. There is no right or wrong in it in my opinion, so therefore no need for a apology.

I posted comments to both of your comments to me on my blog just now. Getting ready to leave, so got to get off the computer. Will try to get back on later.

Hey Beatty. It was a class presentation. I found that if I keep apologizing for things I spend less time being productive.

Fortunately it wasn't some thing where I felt I trampled over someone's feelings.

I'm glad it was only a class project. :o)

I bet you are. I can still remember from way back when I went to Savannah State College it was called at the time. I was just out of high school and I went there 2 yrs. and those papers and tests were so stressful. I would pass, but they were very stressful. It was the reason I dropped out of college. I couldn't handle the stress. Good for you for not giving in to stress like I did.

I understand. Graduate school has the same feeling. I thought that was over after undergrad classes. Ha!

Of course, I have the added drama of working, and the ins and outs that follow that. So now I have more stress, but I am in a better place to deal with it.

You're doing good. I don't handle alot of stress very well. I'm good at dropping something if it's too much added stress. Not a good quality to have on my part.
