I did this piece a while ago. I have it on my wall. I love this painting. It reminds me of a time when i had the freedom to paint and develop images. It that respect I am very happy to show my paintings on my blog.
dude, these paintings are amazing. you have a real knack for color. i love the earthiness in VII. and i really like the way the figures seem to blend in w/ the surroundings but at the same time they are also the focal point. that's pretty hard to pull off.
but the painting in VI really draws me in. i can see why you love it. there's a lot of emotion emanating from it. i have goose bumps right now!
Thanks again Aggie. I love these paintings as the do represent a time when I had a lot of creative energy flowing. I really need to get back to painting.
I feel a little overwhelmed these days between classes, short staffed at the job, and my own projects. I want to paint more, hell, do pastels. LOL Pastels rock.
